Palo Alto Networks Stock Has Surged Since August. Can This Momentum Continue?

Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW), the platform-focused cybersecurity company behind Prisma, Cortex, and its next-gen firewall offerings, has rallied sharply since mid-August. After closing at about $176 on Aug. 18, the day it reported results, the growth stock trades at about $202 as of this writing -- a gain of roughly 15%. The move reflects renewed confidence in the company's growth algorithm and a guidance for more of the same.Some investors may be tempted to chase the momentum. But should they? The business is performing well, and management sounded constructive about fiscal 2026.
